Welcome to Young Members!

AMC-Young-Members The YM group is here to maximize the AMC experience for 20 and 30-somethings (and adults of all ages who still think they're 20 or 30-something). Activities and social events are organized and attended by people like you, geared for the "younger" crowd. Check out the events listed below and our Facebook group to see what's going on.

Meet Our Volunteers:

Steph Steph Chambers Co-Chair
In the Fall of 2010, I became a Trip Leader and have had the opportunity to arrange hikes to amazing places in New Hampshire like the 1954 crash site on Mt. Success and Peak Above the Nubble via a huge slide thanks to my co-leader, Marc Howes. 2012 is going to be great!
Lora Lora Claus Co-Chair
Did someone say burritos? I love hosting events for AMC Young Members. We're all about trying new things, like white water rafting, cabin weekends, and moonlit hikes. Join us for an adventure!
Wayne Goertel Past Co-Chair
Once you've experienced the beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, how can you not want to protect them? I'm proud to lend support to AMC's strong voice advocating for preserving the natural outdoors.
Kaitrin Kaitrin Davis Social Host
I enjoy all types of outdoor activities and have found the AMC a wonderful place of information and support. My biggest dream in life is to one day see a white and fluffy mountain goat.
Ross Garofalo Social Host
Whether I'm teaching workshops at Cardigan Lodge, leading winter trips up Katahdin, or exposing beginners to the White Mountains for the first time, I love sharing my passion for the outdoors with others! What are you waiting for? Come out and give us a try!
John John Green Social Host
